Voting has now closed

Thank you for visiting my Community Building Partnerships website

The online consultation has now closed. Every electorate in NSW has been given funds to support community infrastructure projects as part of the Government’s $35 million stimulus effort scheme.

Through this exciting new online process local residents were able to have their say about how our $300,000 should be spent by voting for the projects they believe will best benefit the community.

Thank you to all those who took part in the online consultation. The results of this consultation will provide the basis for my recommendations to the Premier. Community Building Partnerships is a NSW Government scheme to assist local community groups to invest in infrastructure projects. This will improve community services and provide vital jobs as part of the NSW Government’s stimulus efforts.

I am now in the process of considering each of the applicants and formulating my recommendations to the Premier. Successful applicants will be announced in early December.

If you would like any further information about this project, or I can be of any assistance please contact my office on 02 9660 7586 or balmain@parliament.nsw.gov.au

Yours sincerely,

Verity Firth MP,
Member for Balmain.
